Shipping Policy

We ship via Australia post – regular parcel post or your online order can be collected in-store. Shipping costs are calculated when you checkout and costs will be added to the order’s subtotal at checkout. 

Please note for larger orders additional postage may apply. We will contact you after we receive your order to calculate the most economic postage for you.

For international orders, please contact us directly on retail@busseltonjetty.com.au as we currently have no international postage option on this platform. 

Orders that are destined for a domestic Australian address will have GST applied to the cost of the freight automatically.

Busselton Jetty cannot be held responsible for Customs clearance fees and taxes at the destination country.

Busselton Jetty delivers orders to most countries around the world.

Some parcel deliveries are being delayed to Covid-19 disruption.

International orders are subject to customs clearance at both the Australian and the destination Country ports. The receiver will be liable for any duties and taxes levied by their destination county’s customs and border control.

Please allow 1-3 business days for processing and packing your order before shipment.

We will email you a confirmation when your order has been posted and tracking information where possible.

Busselton Jetty takes no responsibility for delivery delays caused by any delivery provider.

If you opt to collect in-store, we will notify you when your order is ready.

Australia Standard Delivery Times:

  • Perth Metropolitan Area: (approx. 3-7 business days)
  • All other major Australian metropolitan areas: (approx. 7-10 business days)
  • Remote and Regional Areas: (approx. 7 -14 business days)

Some items are taking a little longer than usual right now due to high parcel volumes and ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

Delivery Restrictions & Delays

We are unable to deliver large items to PO Boxes. Please provide your full street address.

Delivery dates are estimates in accordance with our carriers. If you live in an area experiencing an unexpected service delay (i.e. severe weather, natural disasters, unscheduled events, etc.), please note there may be additional shipping time to receive your order.

Refund Policy

As per Australian Consumer Law (ACL), if an item you bought from the Busselton Jetty is faulty, unsafe or doesn’t do what it is intended to do, we will replace the item or refund the value of item to you. Refunds will be provided in the same format as your original payment. It will be at our discretion, based on individual circumstances whether you are eligible for a refund or replacement.

As per ACL, you will be responsible for returning the product to us, however if there is a fault with your product you are entitled to claim reasonable postage costs. Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

Refunds for damaged goods (if applicable)

If you have purchased something online and it is faulty or doesn’t do what it is intended to do, on receipt of the returned goods or clear proof of damage with photos we will inspect the item/s and immediately notify you on the status of your refund,

If your refund is approved, we will refund you into the card used to process the transaction.  Please allow between 5 to 10 business days to receive the refund into your account.

If you receive a refund, postage costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.

You will be responsible for paying for your own postage costs for returning your item.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially processed.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.


Returns and Exchanges:

If you have changed your mind, we allow returns and exchanges on selected items for up to 30 days from the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it, and with tags and/or labels and you are responsible for postage costs to us.

There are no returns or exchanges on the following items:

  1. Sale items
  2. jewellery of any description
  3. Books
  4. Food and perishable items
  5. Personal care items such as sunscreen, moisturizers, etc.
  6. Any items that have been used or where the seal is broken

To complete your return, we require your receipt or proof of purchase.

Please contact us or drop in store if you would like to return an item purchased from us.

Please note, we take no responsibility for damage that is not caused by our conduct, products or if the damage relates to something independent of the Busselton Jetty after the items left our control. However, we will assist and work through this with you to the best of our abilities.
